Tyco Flow Control repairs all types of pressure relief valves for steam, gas, air, and liquid service. This includes valves made by ALL manufacturers.

Upon receipt of a valve, condition assessment and repair strategies are documented on the internal job traveler/test report, which is included in the valve’s permanent record.

The valve is then disassembled, cleaned, and inspected. Critical dimensions are checked to establish that the parts are not below the minimum dimensions set by the manufacturer. The spring number is verified for the required set pressure and the seats are lapped. Next, the valve is assembled and set to the required pressure, using the appropriate test medium, according to ASME Section I and Section VIII Div. I and to the customer's specifications.
After testing is complete, the valve is tagged with customer data and painted to meet all requirements. Valves are shipped to the customer along with an attached copy of the job traveler/test report.
